Religious Pluralism, Church Teachings, Gospel Witness

The series considers Church teachings on religious pluralism and relations with other religions. The four sessions are meant, first, to clarify connections between our own lived experiences of religious diversity and Church teachings and, second, to encourage reflection/conversation on the meanings of Christian witness in a religiously diverse world.
Session I – Church Teaching on Other Religions: Horizons and Challenges
Session II – The Gospel Fruits of Inter-Religious Dialogue (Islam)
Session III – The Gospel Fruits of Inter-Religious Dialogue (Judaism)
Session IV – Religious Liberty: A Gift from the Heart of the Church
Participants are encouraged to attend as many sessions as they are able.
Presented by Paul L. Heck, PhD, a parishioner and professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Georgetown University.
